Conyers, GA – April 2, 2007 – SBS Farms of Buffalo, NY, is spending two weeks in Georgia at the Atlanta Spring Horse Show series. Last week’s show, which ran from March 28-April 1, 2007, was another successful competition for riders Jennifer Alfano and Kacey McCann.

Alfano piloted Violets are Blue for owner Helen Lenahan to the championship in the First Year Green Working Hunters. She also won the reserve championship in the Second Year Green Hunters on Rock Star, owned by Bright Star 158 LLC. Her third tricolor came with Magnolia, another Bright Star-owned entry. They were champions in the Pre-Green 3’ Hunter division.

Kacey McCann (16) of Palmyra, PA, rode Pirate this weekend for owner Caroline Moran and trainer Scott Williamson. Pirate won three classes and the championship in the Small Junior 16-17 Hunters. McCann won a fourth class in the division, as well as the Small Junior Hunter Classic on Mustique, owned by SBS Farms and Don Stewart Jr.

“We were so thrilled that Scott and Caroline picked Kacey to ride Pirate,” said head trainer, Susie Schoellkopf. “He’s a beautiful hunter, and it was a great opportunity for Kacey.”

McCann did not limit her success to the hunter ring. She and Rembrandt VH Paradijs, owned by Danielle Torano, won in the High Junior/Amateur Jumpers. Rembrandt and McCann finished sixth in the High Junior/Amateur Jumper Classic. She picked up ribbons in the Low Junior Jumpers as well on Scandal, owned by the Buffalo Therapeutic Riding Center.

In the equitation, McCann won the WIHS Jumper phase with a score of 96 and also won the hunter phase for the overall victory in the class on Comanche.
