Watch out for this HORSE SCAM -
Advance
Fee Scheme!
Many so-called "horse traders" are sending
emails to people who are selling their horses over the web. They
are promising that they will pay you an extra amount of money for
your horse in the form of a cashiers check being much greater that
what you are asking for the horse if you will just deposit the check
and send them back the difference.
What happens after you deposit the check and send
them the money, is that the bank calls you back later and tells
you that the check is no good. You are then stuck with the bad check
and you have already sent the horse trader the money and you may
have already sent the horse! The FBI knows of this - it is called
an "advance fee scheme". Click
here for more information. DO NOT fall for this SCAM!! I have
personally seen an attempt at this with a horse being sold by my
trainer. (TR)
