Announcing the
First International Horse Photographers
Blue Bonnet Photo Shoot.
21 of the industry’s leading equine photographers
from various countries will be gathering (May7-10) in the beautiful Texas Hill
Country.
The event, the combined brainchild of internationally recognized photographers,
Charles Hilton, Candace Craw-Goldman and Andrew Wheeler was created to give professional
horse photographers an opportunity to shoot Cowboy and Western themed commercial
imagery in a creative and open-minded environment with other top professional
horse photographers.
With a minimum of 3 days of shooting in a wide variety of unique locations in
the Texas Hill Country which include settler's buildings, forts and other Western
period structures, photographers will have access to livestock as well as Western
themed shoots such as staged gunfights and a cowboy wedding and will be able
to create imagery that has commercial potential for advertising and editorial
usage.
There will also be discussions on post processing, equipment usage, self promotion
and business discussions that are specific to the photography business.
About the IHPA:
Founded by renowned horse photographer Andrew Wheeler, this new and exciting
group that has a creative and positive atmosphere has been organized to create
and foster cooperation and interaction between professional horse photographers
and the industries that use their imagery.
The IHPA is also a resource for all horse related industries for their imagery
requirements whether it be a simple stock image or by requesting assignments
from the over 80 of its members located throughout the world.
By providing support and advice through networking to professional horse photographers
and to act as a resource for the horse, equine publishing, marketing and related
industries we hope to provide a vibrant and alternative resource of exciting
and stimulating imagery for all your visual requirements in marketing, promotion
